
(PALM BEACH, FL) – Bruce Retzch, AIA, Chair of DESIGN PALM BEACH, announces that World-famous Architect Enrique Norten, Hon. FAIA, designer of the currently under construction condominium building at 2000 South Ocean Blvd. in Hallandale Beach, will be an AIA Palm Beach Chapter guest lecturer Saturday, May 11, 2019, at the Hilton West Palm Beach, 600 Okeechobee Blvd., at 2:00 pm, with a wine and cheese reception following at 3:00 pm.

Mr. Norten’s career spans over 30 years. In addition to receiving the “Legacy Award” from the Smithsonian Institution in 2007 for his contribution to the arts and culture in the U.S., he also was awarded the “Excellence in Architecture and Design Award” by PODER – Boston Consulting Group Business Awards in 2008.
a Master of Architecture from Cornell University, Mr. Norten is the Elliot Noyes Visiting Design Critic at Harvard University, and has been a visiting professor at Cornell, Parsons School of Design, Pratt Institute, Yale School of Architecture, and Columbia University, among others. In 1986 he founded TEN Arquitectos in Mexico City, initiating a lifelong commitment to architecture and design.
